An engaging and interesting talk on the biggest food issues of today by the Food Doctor’s Rhiannon Lambert, Nutritionist and Yvonne Green MBACP( Accred) Counsellor and Eating Therapist.

How sugar affects us physically and the ageing process
The effects of sugar, stress and smoking on mental health.
How to recognise sugar addiction and emotional eating.
Some useful self-care strategies and why CBT can be helpful.

Rhiannon and Yvonne will explore how sugar and stress can affect us from both a physical and mental perspective. They will examine the facts behind the sugar loaded diets that have caused many health issues for our society.
You will gain a better understanding of the link between emotions, stress and disordered eating. We will look at sugar addiction and stress and how to avoid them by eating more healthily. You will leave with some useful ways of coping with the continuous pressure to eat certain foods and learn how to make better food choices.
